Not the best pictures, I know. It's hard to get a good picture of these guys because as long as the lights are on, they never really stop swimming around.
They seem happy, are already displaying pairing behavior, and I think they have absolutely great looking colors. Especially compared to some of the clowns I've seen at other stores in the area.
We've had them for a week and they're already warmed up enough that they come to the top of the tank when I approach, looking for food. And they're ALWAYS looking for food. If they're not swimming around the tank like maniacs and playing around, they're scouring the glass for pods and devouring them.
They have a little spot burrowed out in the sand where they sleep together at night, and their interactions with my peppermint shrimp are hilarious at times. The shrimp like to try and approach to clean them when they come close, and the clowns just stare at them with this befuddled look, and then sprint away when the shrimp gets close.
Please excuse the algae on the glass. Seems I'm going through the inevitable new tank outbreak that everyone experiences. The Trochus snails have done a good job keeping it in check as of now, but I definitely need to get a mag float and get to work. Though, I'm hesitant to clear off the snails' food source.
