Not the best pictures, I know. It's hard to get a good picture of these guys because as long as the lights are on, they never really stop swimming around.

They seem happy, are already displaying pairing behavior, and I think they have absolutely great looking colors. Especially compared to some of the clowns I've seen at other stores in the area.

We've had them for a week and they're already warmed up enough that they come to the top of the tank when I approach, looking for food. And they're ALWAYS looking for food. If they're not swimming around the tank like maniacs and playing around, they're scouring the glass for pods and devouring them.

They have a little spot burrowed out in the sand where they sleep together at night, and their interactions with my peppermint shrimp are hilarious at times. The shrimp like to try and approach to clean them when they come close, and the clowns just stare at them with this befuddled look, and then sprint away when the shrimp gets close.

Please excuse the algae on the glass. Seems I'm going through the inevitable new tank outbreak that everyone experiences. The Trochus snails have done a good job keeping it in check as of now, but I definitely need to get a mag float and get to work. Though, I'm hesitant to clear off the snails' food source.

Thanks. It's really amazing how much more character saltwater tanks have. I've been keeping freshwater fish for more than 10 years, and there's really no comparison. Well worth the extra work to keep the tank maintained.

imo nothing compares to the way clownfish swim

Quite entertaining. Mine have taken to swimming right along the top of the water when I approach to feed them... Sometimes swimming with their head and dorsal fin poking out of the water! :eek1:

I think I lucked out with a couple of characters, that's for sure.

Figured I would snap a couple pictures of them sleeping in their "bed". They seem to be getting along quite well.

Clowns are my fav. I can feed them from hand and they nibble on my fingers trying to get the food out. They don't really take up the whole tank yet. They mainly stay on one side of the tank and they still haven't figured out there is a GBTA(anemone) just waiting there for them. Welcome to the Saltwater hobby, its the best.
