Here is a picture of my new favorite coral. It is an Oregon Tort! I need to have someone come over and take a picture of this thing. It is the darkest blue coral I have ever seen! This picture does not do it justice!

Yeah...I have to leave more often! I leave town on Sunday and come back on Thursday night and this in in my tank. I guess it was just a hitchhiker from some of my 3 year old live rock :)

You are soooo lucky.... All I have found for hitchhikers is a 3-4 foot venomous worm...

Is that why the picture is on the milk carton?? A sting from a worm??

Picture is of Anthony Calfo

Hey Bob,

If you are now tired of that ugly "purple" tort. I might have a place you can get rid of it... :D

I am not tired of it yet...but I thought that was purple before I got this one! Since that is now my second favorite coral, I will probably start fragging it more.

I would love to come take pics of your tank. Here is a pic of the tort frag I got from you when you went bb. I would love to see what kind of awesome pics I could get of your corals, and especially a full tank shot.

Wow you can tell that thing is way dark blue in the pic. Sweet looking!

Props to Brad on his pics! What kind of camera do you use?

Nice pic Brad! I wanna know what camera you got too! I just ordered a Canon A610, should be here next week sometime.

I use a Canon digital rebel xt. I have the kit lens 17-55mm, and the Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro lens. Without a camera that allows full manual control (or at least manual focusing), your only choice is to hope the pics turn out nice. When I used an old Nikon coolpix, i just had to take hundreds of pics to get anything good. The camera's brain doens't know its taking pics of the inside a water filled box of glass. Now getting good shots is easy.
