The hole in the overflow is where the water return will come out.

Yes, the overflow will never be seen , all you will see will be a mountain of rock in the tank. Some of the rock will even come out of the tank. At the top will be a mangrove. The top rock will be removable to see into the overflow. Also the overflow will have the hose for the return line in it.I want no visible equipment in the tank. The only thing you might see is my mp10. Working on a way to cover that with rock to( not sure if its possible.

Cool looking project! Really like the centrally located overflow, that's pretty unique and sounds like it will be very stealthy.

plumbing is done filling the tank.

sorry thats the plumbing the sump is the tank everything is in now and will be installed when the transfer starts. My bad sorry about that one

I see. That's a lot of elbows, which cut flow. Any reason you can't place the pump directly in line, and route the pump's intake to draw water from the area you want?

Limited space and need several safety cut offs or landlord will be ****ed if hardwood floors get soaked. Also have mp10 in tank for flow and the tank that is gonna be the sump is 9x9x12 so very little room. Pump will be pushing about 200gph which is enough flow to take care of tank. It's only 7.5 gallons

looks very nice...same thing i did with my plumbing...i used black vinyl for my return but otherwise the same...

my sump is the same size as your display...after i built the sump i was like damn this would make a sweet little tank...i will watch this close...keep it up..

I'm on vacation in north Carolina right now relying only updates from my ac3 controller. But it's finished and running. Had a rush to transfer things over before we left I will post pics as soon as I'm back.
