My New Golden Banana Moray EEL

They are the same Eel, Gymnothorax miliaris (i didn't check spelling, but think I got it), they are just different color variations. I think the all yellow ones are usually from further south than the "Goldentail".

I saw that on DD and I was amazed at how pretty, but I have never kept any eels - I'd never even consider buying something like that at this point in my hobby experience.

thanks everyone.

Very shy at first, but now,she is getting very active, swimming around the tank.
She will be housed in a 60 Gallon tank by herself. I will add Black Sand and darker live rock to bring out her coloration even more.
I noticed that she glows even more under metal halide. But too much water evaporation makes me go with t5.

From today, my next target is to find a ﾋﾒウツボ.
I know it is the same fish as dwarf moray (Gymnothorax melatremus) ,but I am sure this fish is a very rare color morph of dwarf moray, and it has its own population.
Banana eel = goldentail moray
Japanese dragon moray= Hawaiian Dragon moray
and
Dwarf Moray = ﾋﾒウツボ (Himeutsubo )

So beautful. I just made the decision to convert my tank to a FOWLR aggressive. I havent had an eel yet!! After seeing the beautiful yellow and green morays, I will have to have one eventually!!

I will put this golden eel with a golden puffer in my main tank later.
