My new ORA Spotcinctus clowns

Somehow I went from the guy that didn't really like clownfish to now having a pair in each of my 4 tanks. I already have an onyx perc / b&w occelaris pair, a pair of goldflake maroons, and a pair of snow onyx clowns (actually my son's). About 1 1/2 years ago, I saw a pair of spotcinctus clowns at the LFS. They almost became my first clowns at the time, but I waited too long to decide and someone else bought them. Fast forward to this week. My LFS called to ask if I still wanted a pair because they were about to place an order with ORA. I only wanted pearl eyes so I wasn't holding out much hope that he could get a pair. But I received a message the next day that they were in at the shop so I ran over and picked them up.

On a side note, the up-and-down swimming of the bicinctus is adorable, it is also a major pain in the rear when it comes to taking pictures. These two do not EVER hold still. So as a result, not all of the pics are as good as I would like.

I was the same way, I started by not wanting any clowns, as they are so common place and everyone has them. But then I decided that if I was going to have one, its going to be different, so I started with a black ocellaris. Now I also have a pair in every tank, but evey one of them are designer breeds lol. I now have a pair of snowflakes, a black ice and a black phantom, and a pair of Wyoming whites. Too many pretty clowns out there now lol

Ok, here are some updated pics. I unfortunately lost my original male, so these are pics of his replacement (who isn't nearly as nice, sigh).

Is that a Blue Haddoni that you got them in?
Nice

They are actually in a blue gigantea. It is the one I posted about prior that I purchased an entire system just to get the gig. It had suffered under the care of its previous owner so the tentacles are not as long as typical. Also, these pics were taken as my leds were winding down for the day so the gig wasnt as "shaggy" as it gets during the day. I have moved some lps and am slowly cranking up the leds even more and the gig is loving every minute of it.

Now I remember. Looking good. Feed him every other day and he will grow fast for you. I feed mine two pencil eraser fiece of sea food every other day.
You should post a picture of the anemone in addition to the clowns. The clowns are nice but I love to see the anemone also.

I'll give them time to get a clutch or two under their belt while I get everything ready to try to raise the fry.

Hey stranger--VERRRY NIIICE anemone & clowns! At beginning of vid, is that the wrasse I sold you before I left FL.?

Good to hear from you, Bill. The wrasse in the video is my dusky. I think I got my Hoeven's from you when you moved. Had to rehome him since he became agressive and then started flipping over my turbos and shredding them for between meal snacks.

Yea, he was getting a little aggressive from what I remember; but I always thought it was the huge pinkspotted goby that was doing in my CUC--she sure liked the shells...Well, awesome nem you got there. Did you get it from John?
