Yesterday my two Picasso Clownfish arrived from Doni's Reef. I bought the "B" set and one is pictured below. When Doni said they were small she meant small with a capital S. Fortunately I had a QT tank set up with foam on all intakes and plastic pipes in the bottom to hide in. When they arrived I poured both bags into a common acclamation vessel; that was a mistake. From the moment the two get together they started fighting. And they continued to fight for 45 minutes. By this time the weaker of the two was laying on the bottom of the vessel and barely moving while the stronger was still attacking. At this point, I stopped the acclamation and put the weaker one in the QT 10 gal tank. It sunk right to the bottom and barely moved, still it was in a swimming posture so that was encouraging. I put the second one in with reservations but to my surprise it just began swimming around the tank and ignored his fellow tank mate. After an hour, I gave them a little food which both readily consumed. After eating, both were swimming together exploring the tank as if they had never had a bad word. They have not shown any aggression since. The below Picasso has superb markings and this is only a "B", I can imagine what an "A" looks like.
