I've been wanting a pink mille for awhile now. I was at our local meeting over the weekend in a different town so i checked out one of the stores and there it was!!
r u sure thats a milli because I bought what I thought was a blue milli which looks just like that. And was told it was a prostrata because the branches wasn't stumpy. check out this thread
I guess our piece are still small and doesnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t have too many branches. When it starts to grow it should start to clump up and look more like a milli.
From what i understand, the only difference between a milli and prostrata are that the polyps on the prostrata are smaller. The coral does not look as shaggy.
This pic was taken about 20 min after going in the tank. So its a bit stressed. I'm sure it will color up more pink. Also the pic isn't that great. I'll get some more tonight!!
impur..........nice millie. It's always a great feeling when ya find a piece that you have been wanting! And I think the color looks great considering current status. If I compared my new frags to established colonies, well......lets just say I would have been long gone!

Thanks! You are SO right. When you finally find the coral you are looking for its an awesome feeling!
I also noticed it came with a tiny little acro crab. I didn't see him till i was done acclimating the coral. Even then i couldn't tell what it was he's so tiny. You can actually see one of his blue eyes in the pic, middle of the coral branches at the bottom, he's on the left nearest branch.
