Picked this up a little bit ago and thankfully its doing great in my tank... heres a link to where it came from... corals linage ... it lost a little orange from the transfer from his tank to mine, but its coloring back up nicely..

Im pumped about it so i just thought i'd share some pics!

Very nice. Though I'm not sure what the Coral Lineage thread is supposed to show. I'm a bit confused by it actually. You post that you picked this up a little bit ago, the lineage thread states each person will receive a small frag. Your picture is of a very nice colony. The lineage thread doesn't list who's received any frags since August of 08. Maybe the lineage site just needs to keep more up to date records...lol.
 
i think he obtained the original colony not a frag of it. the Coral Lineage thread i think is just to show the history of the coral i dont think pictures do this coral justice.

this is the colony that was being fragged.. and the site isn't updated anymore because it's no longer for sale :D
 
I think you should have just broke off a fat frag of it to show us now.....and then in a month post the rest of it as a one month growth shot

Now that would be funny.

I too love the sunset mille. Hope you dont mind but I try to post a picture of mine when ever I get the chance (one of my favorite pics right now).

Do all green milles have the potential to be "sunset" milles? I had the ORA Nathan's green mille, and under cetain tank conditions, the coralites turned yelow/orange...

No so I cant validate its lineage at all. If its not the original it seems just as nice though.

I have owned 2 other green milleporas and also this sunset. Having moved tanks (moving placement of corals) none of the other green milleporas ever exhibited color similar to the sunset...and the sunset has always been the "sunset" from day one, no matter where I put it so I would have to dissagree.

IMO maybe some could have the potential to turn in color similar but not all (or in my case none did).
 
I got a frag from that colony from Jesse around 6 months ago, it's probably my favorite piece in the tank. It's a very aggressive milli that takes out ANYTHING in it's path.
