My New Tank is here!!!

I keep looking at the triangular shaped rock on the bootem right of the tank, it's kind of flat and looks like it made of tons of little tubeiuels. What kind of rock is that and where did you get it? I never seen one like that in a tank before, but it looks like a good spot to hide under.

Elmer's had a bunch of shelf rock in a few weeks ago, and I picked up a few pieces. There is another flat piece hidden on the top as well. I'm planning on a few pairs/trios of shrimpgobies... hopefully a few of them will take up residence there.

Jeff had a large piece that looked like that in one of his rock tanks a few weeks back also.

It's not as noticeable as before, but till too noisy for me. I'm going to try a plumbing modification I saw at Pat's house, but just haven't had a chance to install it yet.

The new guys.

I also added another Yasha Hase White Ray Goby. It actually came as a pair with the Red Candy Stripe Pistol Shrimp, but haven't been able to spot him yet.

Got the Ca Reactor up and running tonight as well. Thanks goes out to Pat and Ray for helping me collect all the supplies I needed to get it together.

Glad the Anthias seem to have made it ok...
Yeah so far so good, and they've eaten twice. I've been feeding them a mixture of mysis and spirulina bine shrimp. So the 2 week countdown starts today.

They are awesome fish to watch interact though, I can't wait to get them into the display.

How is the midas blenny with the Anthias? When I added my Lyretails, my midas tortured them. I guess they looked enough like him that he chased them costantly. Had to move him to another tank.

So far he's less than thrilled, but isn't really bothering them too much. He keeps trying to swim in between them, but they just bump him out of the way.

Thanks. Some of the corals have been with me around a year. Most everything was being held in a temporary setup after I broke my cube tank until I could get this together.

the meteor shower colored up nicely
Yeah, and it's growing pretty darn fast as well. It's crazy how all the new growth is a "rust" color initially, then after a week or so it turns that nice blue/grey color.

Very nice sunset frag!

Thanks, I picked it up at Aquaworld.

I LIKE THE CLOWNS! Where did you pick them up?
Thanks. I've been waiting/looking for a pair for a LONG time. The guy I was doing the Black Clownfish group buy with had a pair.

Elmer's has a pair of them in right now. They are housing them in the 12g BioCube across from the register next to the wave tanks.
