After having my ACIII probes dangling in my sump for a few weeks, and trying to figure out a way to hook up my float switches... I decided to send a quick sketch of an idea to Keith to see if he could make me a little holder for it all... Turned out very nice.

Looks good. Hey how is that Korallin 1502 working out for you? I sold my Knop-c reactor last year in hopes to get the 1502 but I heard some bad things about it so I've been holding off, just using Bionic... I have just heard it's really hard to dial in and keep consistant

I actually like the reactor... but am having trouble dialing it in, primarily because of the way I'm controlling the effluent drip rate. So I really don't think it's the reactor's fault. I'm controlling the output rather than the input. So I've ordered a small needle valve that will connect between the manifold and reactor so I can control the flow feeding the reactor, then will just let the output run unrestricted.

That will supposedly solve my issues.

Well I hope that works for you TJ... I think I'll give it a couple of months to see if your calms down and also talk to some more people that have them. I also like the look of that Aqua-C RX-1 reactor, but I don't know anyone that has that one yet.

After making some adjustments a few days ago, it looks like my levels are sitting about here:

Alkalinity: 11.8 dKH
Calcium: 470 ppm
Magnesium: 1380 ppm

I'm going to give it a few more days before I make another adjustment though, and see if they continue to move, or have settled there.

Those are pretty good. I like my KH a little lower though...

Yep I ran my 90g around 10-11 dKH, so I'm going to give it a couple weeks before I make another adjustment to the reactor to see if my levels have settled there, or are still gradually still falling.

Sounds good. How did you attach that probe holder that Keith made to your sump?

I'm going to use magnets. That way I can shift the position if I need to.

I also picked up a nice chalice frag when I purchased the Sunset, and have a chalice frag pack coming my way next week which includes 3 "non branded" pieces in it.

Initial pictures look promising though.
