My new tank setup

Here it is finally, a bit crowded because I downsized from a 120. But I really like my new 65 gal RR AGA.

Big thanks to MrMikeB for letting me borrow his table saw for the stand and canopy. BTW Mike if your reading this I still got your saw just let me know when you would like me to drop it off.

Thanks for all the kind words every one. Yeah I do like it quite abit more than my 120 it simply just looks better.

Yoboyjdizz, I downsized because I moved into a new apartment recently and its just to small for a 4' tank.

Paul, thanks for the compliment. You got a new tank? How many do you have now? I would love to help you with your new stand but I won't be able to do so until November because I have my engineering exam late October and will be putting alot of studying time into that. BTW how was your diving trip, i'm sure it went well.

Those Tunzes I have in their would have blown the sand all over the place. I was thinking about adding some coarse grain sand but have not yet decided yet. The only thing that sucks about going bare bottom is I can't get any cool wrasses, I really want a couple of leapord wrasses again, oh well.

wow.. u must have a pretty large turnover in ur tank.. how many gph are you gettin from ur tunzes.

I have two 6100 Tunzes and they are intervals of about 30 minutes. They are suppose to put out 3200 gal/hour each, but I have them turned up to only about 80% so with my eheim 1262 return and one tunze going one at a time I get about 45x turnover. However I believe I got 6 ft of head on my return and I also plumbed it through my chiller so the final output into my display is lower than I would like so I might switch out the pump for something alittle more powerful. BTW how is your 180 going? Im sure your spending a fortune trying to stock it.

45x is a pretty good number.. i think im runnin about 18x turnover in my tank now.. but its still mostly LPS. I threw in a red monti cap and a green scroll to start up the SPS. I been tryin to stock it w/ fish first cuz summer electricity is crazy down here. im only runnin 2x250 halides til i get more frags.
