Remember most of my nice photos up to this point have been taken by Vince so I have some catching up to do to get as good as him. Also I have always found Actinic only shots are difficult to get right. In that first one I was focusing (or at least trying to focus) on the corals and rock work. I took another one that didn’t come out any better but I was focusing on the fish and the corals are all blurry. Hopefully I will get some better shots soon so I can post them on RC.
I really like this camera a lot! I think it is great for aquarium photography so far. It is a very smart camera that is easy to use and has lots of features. I am sure this camera is capable of much better shots than the ones I have posted so far. I still need to finish reading the manual and learning all the tricks. It took me a while to choose this camera but with all of the features it has and the great price I couldn’t go wrong.

White balance is a very important perimeter in the digital camera world especially in bright light situations. I take a white card (the back of a test kit card works) put it up against my tank to set the white balance manually. This helps correct the colors. This should be explained in your manual.
