My Norwegian 142g SPS Dominated

Beautiful tank! Lots of potential for coral growth and an amazing future reef as a result of coral growth filling in the space.

Thanks for posting. :)

nice tank, what part of Norway? i have a sister and brother in Oslo. I was in Oslo last October. Landed at Gardermoen and felt the chill. Sister took me to a cheap place to buy a wind breaker. i would have paid $15-18 at walmart there i paid $80. so i feel ur pain when it comes to high cost of living.

I live in Fredrikstad, bout 1,5 hour drive south of Oslo. And yes, everything is expensive lol.

Thanks for sharing that really nice tank you have going there.
Love the way you built that in.

That Sailfin is pretty big. You've obviously had it awhile.
Did it beat up your new Powder Brown when you added it?

They were swimming side by side after 15mins. I put in a butterfly (chelmon rostratus) at the same time. I guess he didn't know who to beat up....

If I may ask how did you get into this crazy hobby ? lovely tank and your fish look happy keep up the good work.
Roger

Thx.
I was "on & off" with fresh water for bout 12 years, and wanted to take it a step further. Mentioned it for my wife that I might try salt one day, and it took 3 weeks b4 SHE found a "plug and play" tank for me. I was hooked, and she still regrets it....

I don't call this a hobby, it's an obsession

I didn't answer it all lol.
First of all thank you :D
The sailfin is getting quite big. Bought him 2 years ago, second hand. Have no idea how old he really is, but the boss in the tank. Even thou my half blind yellow tang is the same age in the tank. Got them from the same place. The sailing eats everything out of my hand, and I can actually pet him :D

Celebrating 3 years of keeping salt in the water, with a fresh pic

I was in Haakonsvern Norway for a few weeks in 2009 and man was that expensive... The food was amazing though, and the landscape was just awe-inspiring. Highly recommend a visit to Norway if anyone has an extra few thousand laying around. Also very beautiful tank for someone who has limited resources, you have done a wonderful job.
