My paintings

I have a few paintings that I did. This Regal Angelfish is the best one so far, and I did that one yesterday. I did the juvenile emperor angelfish 2 days ago, and the scene of butterfly fish a long time ago. So I just wanted to know your opinion on these paintings, and to share them with you.

also reccomend a fish to paint, if you want, I could try to paint a picture of a fish you have. Just post it up, and I will try to paint it. I need some challenges. It would also be good practice for me. Sorry for the blurry camera, the pictures are better in person, or with a good camera

All art is beautiful because it is created by someone who is inspired by the existence of life, it makes people feel alive, reminds people of the reality of death, it's timeless and comes from the hearts and minds of some of the worlds most interesting people. I'm no art major so I can not judge but I like the fact that some people have the inspiration to do such things. I have a lot of friends who are into art and will sit at my house for hours drawing and painting (just irritating when they don't clean up haha). Keep at it if it's what makes you happy. As for suggestions as to what to draw, I would say to try every fish you like and I'm sure you will be happy.

Nice paintings. You might try a powder blue tang as they have a number of different colors (at least 2 blues, white, and yellow) plus a distinctive shape.

Wow, they are beautiful. I would love to see you paint two different matching paintings like you did with Regal but instead with C. Interruptus and C. Replendensxargi hybrid . They would look lovely in my house. Any interest?

I just finished the first one. C. interruptus , and I will post the picture soon, I cannot right now, because the computer with pictures is being used, so I am going to work on the C. resplendensxargi hybrid

Those are nice paintings. I'd be happy to have something like that hanging around my fish tank.

I think a full grown volitan lionfish is always a good art subject. Quite a few different shades and the fins look amazing. Probably a challenge to paint though.

I especially like the second one--the subject, and the delicacy of the surrounding macroalgae. I think a full-grown queen angelfish would make a nice subject for a portrait. :)

I will do this one when I get more eperienced with basic shaped fishes, but I will do this one.

I am glad you all like it. I will do the butterfly set too.
