The babies just eat the cinnamon and brown sugar that falls off as the adults are chowing down but my leafy sea dragons seem to like blueberry pancakes better.

Don't you guys know that these fish got their name from their diet requirements not their coloration? It is well known that peppermints are mined from deep in the ocean where these fish live. It is their sole source for nutrition.
Try some ocean nutrition peppermint formula and these guys will multiply like crazy. A friend of mine overfed his 40 breeder that housed a pair of these "rare" fish and he had to move out of his house as there were too many fish and they were all fighting over the bathroom.
