My quest for color.

I haven't read all the way through this but as soon as I saw the first image with the frags covered with dinos I had to comment. That's exactly what my frags looked like and I can say I am almost out of my battle with dinos as I've already started to see new growth and coloration with my frags

Feel free to ask any questions about how I beat them if not answered in the thread.

Ok I snapped some more pictures.

I'm happy the small finally moved.

The green one on the bottom right should turn pink when it's happy.

The ugly one in this photo should color up nicely.

I walk by and sit in front of my tank so much, I take a picture as close to the 1st of the month so I can see the change. Otherwise I would never notice the little bitty changes that happen every day.

Well some how yesterday while messing with my dosing schedule on my apex I some how messed up the alkalinity dosing time. I'm just happy I caught it a day later as it took a nose dive over the course of 24 hours. It's also been a couple days ago I'll post up some shots of the same corals. I think I might be boring people with the same pictures over and over but oh well.

Will that's it for today. I think things are getting more color. They are also exploding with growth. I plan to get my CA reactor online soon as I don't like mixing 2 part. Have a great night and don't forget to feed your fish.

What kind of lights do you have over them? They're coloring up pretty nicely! Try to take the pictures from the same angle, it may be easier to compare and see growth! Do you add anything food wise for the coral?

250 watt 16kRadium on one side and 20k I think XM brand on the right. Both powered by PFO ballasts.

Thanks, I'm trying to get the same photo of the Oregon tort and ORA piece every time.

Yes I feed the corals.

Nice progress.

What are you feeding the corals and how often?

Thanks.

I feed reef chilli, pulverized fresh clams, Aquavitro fuel, and mysis shrimp juice. I have found feeding several hours after lights off gets great response. I don't feed everything everyday and have really done much measuring. I am just making sure to keep my po4s down.

Yes I feed the corals.

Radium doesn't make a 16,000 Kelvin bulb, and they never have.

You are correct. I inverted the Kelvin temperatures.

Careful, your entering

The danger zone.

Here is a picture from earlier today. I think this is coloring up purple nicely. I'm happy is growing too. It's an ora piece I just don't know what though.
