My RBTA keeps hiding under rock

So I had a RBTA that split about a month ago. One piece of him is on one side of the tank, out in the open, and the other has been hiding under a rock for about 2 weeks now.

He looks like the original, and for about a week he was out in the open. Then he moved under a rock and has been there ever since. I can see him and his tentacles are out, and looks fine. I turned the rock over, and he immediately crawled back underneath.

Has anyone ever come across this before?

Yes...I have abt 10 Rose bubbles and when mine split (or are torn in half) they will move under rocks to recover and heal up..it takes IMO about 2 to 3 weeks for them to recover. As long as you have good water quality, it will be fine.

Keep in mind, they will move if they're not getting enough light so when it recovers, it should move on its own...

Now if it's a smaller split, it may take longer for it to recover..b/c it'll want to grow as well...
