anyone have any idea how this would work on the htc touch pro 2? It's my g/f phone and I tried figuring it out...well, i couldn't. Anyone has this phone, it's a window os not the droid os.

Hmmm... is the Google Maps app available on that phone? On Android phones, it comes as a stock app, but maybe you can download it?

Sorry, I'm an Android user... so I'm not familiar with Winmo phones.

there's a Bing map app that's looks a lot like the google map but i can't enter the link or use the link, so i guess she might have to buy the app. we're going to be driving to michigan in two months, so i thought it would be fun to find the shops on the way.

if i end up finding out how, i'll post an update but before then, if anyone is using a Window mobile os and knows a trick, please post it.

I guess it would make sense that a Winmo phone would come with a Bing Maps app since Microsoft owns Bing.

Worst case, can you open Michael's Google Maps link in her browser (if you don't want to purchase the Google Maps app)?

You can also check your list against the "Food Locator" at www.rodsfood.com for some additional stores that might not be listed on other store lists you've used.

The Scott's Pet Shop 2 location you recently added was added to the same location as their Westchester, IL location.

Also, why do the new additions show up as red dots as opposed to the blue teardrops the other locations have?

I am not sure why they show up differently. I just input the location and hit save.

Hmmm... You already have the Aquarium Adventure in Hoffman Estates listed. Try adding their newer Bolingbrook location...

I think the red dots have something to do with business listings not being optimized within Google's search engine. If this is the case, I would think that Aquarium Adventure is big enough that they should show up as a teardrop...

PS... I noticed that you fixed Scott's Pet Shop 2 in Clarendon Hills, but the Westchester location is still listed twice... 1 red dot, and 1 teardrop.

Hmm, maybe the duplicates are red dots. I will check later, my PC at work for some reason doesnt get along with google maps.

I'm stumped... Aquarium Adventure (Bolingbrook) showed up as a red dot too. I would have guessed from the Google Support Forum I linked to, that a big place like Aquarium Adventure would show up as a teardrop... like the Hoffman Estates location.

I'll have to do a little more research later.

I just do it for fun. I obviously am not being compensated for my time, so if it isnt perfect it doesnt bother me. After all, it is optional for people to use it. They can always look them up the old fashioned way.
