When the bottom blew out of my 150gal reef tank not only did I loose fish, corals etc., I also lost heart. I kept the sump with the live rock going and turned my 55 fuge into a tank to hold my yellow tang and what scraps of coral survived. With some grateful and overly generous donations from Josh ( scottfarcuz ), itzme, and others along with a couple of frag swaps and raffle wins I have finaly got a tank up and running. I bought a 120 with dual over flows and stand and built my own hood. Here are a couple of shots of the unfinished project.

I installed 2 175w mh and a 250w mh out of the old hood and am using all 14k bulbs. I set the 250 w fixture centered in the tank so the bulb is off set and closer to one of the 175w's. So I have a brighter spot on one side of the tank. There will be three 4 inch fans in the back of the hood when it is complete. The hood is complete closed except for the fan openings.
