i don't know what's for entertainment
Oh... others get it, I'm sure.
well, probably for someone that won't live long, this is a problem
Better watch my cholesterol then...
yet given that i can collect only just one case every half a year, by my birthday of forty, i can at least collect thirties of inflation and deflation cases and check how many out of mags/gigs survive the cycle
[sarcasm]
I wait on the edge of my seat - in dire anticipation - for the results of this rigorous experiment and PRAY that it makes publication. I'm sure every variable over the next - what, 15? 20? years... - is going to be impeccably controlled and this life's work of data collection is going to change the way we think about captive anemone care...
You might check NSF or NIH for grant/funding opportunities - I just know they'll be all ears...
Cholesterol check starts after the holidays. I gotta live long enough to read this thesis...
[/sarcasm]
LOLZ...
More likely - I think we will have "thirties" dead giganteas and magnificas with no isolated variable as the actual, definitive cause... :thumbdown
In other words, why don't ya NOT run this little Masters thesis and save the lives of some wild animals that were plucked off a reef. Just a thought.
i guess i ain't lost but shocked that there's still someone that fails to understand the meaning of recording and history. or probably they only count on massive polls and statistics based on tens or hundreds of thousands samples
[disdain]
You may rest well tonight knowing that in my line of work, I fully understand the "meaning of recording and history."
In other words, yes, I understand the importance of a proper, testable hypothesis, data collection, replicates, sound techniques, etc. - that whole scientific method hoosey-whatsit. And, yes, I also understand that n=30 can be statistically significant.
