So i picked up the other gigantea the same day cuz they both looked healthy and i got a good deal. It's been about 3 days now. I'll update this thread everyday or so on how they're doing.

One of them(left one) had a pretty tight mouth a couple hours ago and so i tried adding a couple small pieces of shrimp and now it looks like some digestive material is coming out of the mouth. It also deflated some. Is this normal? here's a pic so you can see what the digestive stuff looks like.

also, if anyone can ID this clown for me i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

thanks...well the anemone on the left is still deflated but the mouth is closed.

The clown is a very nice clarki clown. Probably from the Solomon Islands
Good luck with the anemones. The one on the right looks like it is going to be a challenge.
Did you get these at Jeff's?

I was thinking the one to the left looked kinda iffy and the one on the right looked a little better ... but hard to say. That digestive material being spewed out is not really a good sign. I wouldn't be so quick to feed them right off the bat, they need to settle in first, maybe try feeding in a couple days. And the trick is to keep the pieces small. I only feed my carpets mysis (for the most part), the size is about right. You can feed other things too I guess but the first few weeks I would not feed anything too large, you run the risk of the food decomposing faster than it can be digested and that can be trouble.

thanks guys.

Phil, no i didn't get them at jeffs. A buddy that works for another fish store picked em up for me. I'm thinking of getting another clarki clown as well.
