My small 10G SPS pico reef

Hi Guys,

Corals are going great here. The red table is growing very fast while others corals are growing slow. Some pics :

Looking great!
Looks like a bit of colour shift in a few pieces.
What do you add as coral nutrition, if anything?
Is the clown still in there?

Excellent tank and great looking coral.
I like the 10g tanks and used to keep sps in them as well. I will be following along with you this year.
How much have Alk and Ca have you had to start dosing?
Also, is your clown still in there? I do not see him in the recent update.
Thanks for any info and good luck this year.

You are rigth...I was without patience today to take good pics , but you got the idea. It´s very hard to take pics with leds

Nothing for food, just WC 50% per week

I was adding AA but I had some algae issue them I stopped

The clown I moved to my bigger tank

The clown I moved to my bigger tank. To keep everything clean without a skimmer is not easy , so food + fish is not a good idea in a small tank like that

I´m adding a huge amount of ca and ra daily....I´m using the tropic marin balling so I´m dosing 40ml daily but every week this value change

I´m learning a lot because small tanks everything change very fast.... I hope I can keep this tank until corals outgrow the tank..we will see

Best Regards

What fixture would recommend for a Fluval Spec V (5 gallons) to support SPS? I have the USA current orbit LED 18'' (18 watts) Let me know what do you think.

Cool tank, looks great! Polyp extension is awesome! Why all the ugly frag plugs though, why don't you clip them off?

 What about the other 10?

Patience...this is the secret to success in reef keeping ...in a couple of months the plugs will be gone

Besides I can move corals with plugs...without them I can´t....I´m still looking for the best spot

Best Regards
