How are the corals getting nutrition if you have no fish and do not feed them anything? What levels are you keeping po4 and no3? Thanks and great thank!

Did you but the hydra 52 for this tank or already have it. I'm starting a 20g. Going to be all sps and bought the hydra 26hd. Is the 52 overkill for it? Or did I not go enough with the 26hd?

I never measured po4 and no3 here....no fish ..no waste...I think po4 and no3 should be near zero. Corals can grow just with light, ca and ra. Maybe with food they can grow faster.

I already had the hydra 52. I´m using here 35% white and 50% blue. 100% will burn all corals here. I think you will be fine with 26hd.

so how do you feel about not running any skimmer? Obviously it has not been a major issue, but it would be interesting to hear your opinion. Is this why you are doing 50% wc?

So far so good without skimmer

Fear...this is why I was doing 50% wc...now I do 50% but every month not every weekend.

But I think it's possible to do less wc..the tank looks very stable

Best Regards
