My Squamosa

I guess I should add an addendum....of course something is worth what people will pay for it. I have seen large clams go for big $$$ on occasion (with surprise I might add) so if you find the right person, you might get lucky.

A hobbyist around here sold off his three maximas for 200-300 each. I think all three were around 8-10" however one was a black and white teardrop and the other two were metallic blue and green.

I dont know if you will find the pic...he did sell it via RC but it was two years ago now.

reefscience (under ultra corals, not clams) has a 10+ incher for $129 right now, and it's in a less common color/pattern than this one. then there are many other smaller, but still decent sized ones for much less.

my question is then you would be telling me when i sell my blue squamossa clam that 800.00 is to much?

i paid 180 for my blue squammy when it was small around 20-3 inches if i were to ever sell it, yes it would be 300- 800 dollar range but i plan to keep a long time. but i wont sell it will be a show clam in my big tank

Here is my blah color pattern clam. I don't care much about the color pattern or how expensive it is. My clam purpose is to sucked up on nitrate and PO4 if possible. Shhht don't say it too loud, i don't want to hurt it feeling hehehehehe

i've seen that tank in person, one of the best if you ask me. just wait till his stuff grows out then its totm material. are you still moving bro?

I wish i can move now, so i can go ahead and order another tank. The word keep on changing, some day they want me to go to Iraq with them. Some day they said they can't.

By the way, my next tank going to be 6x3x2 le-mar starphire 3 sides. uh oh, im day dreaming again.
