My tailspot blenny is picking at my Acro

For the last couple days i've witnessed my tailspot blenny picking at an acro. Is this normal behavior?

I brought home a few frags from MACNA. One of them appeared to have lost some of the skin tissue overnight. But after watching the little cute booger, he seems to have a thing with this one specific acro. At first I thought maybe the acro couldn't take the dip. But now i'm convinced its due to the blenny.

I've had several different tailspot blennies over time. I've never had this issue. It must have had some algea or something on it for this to happen because in my experience they have always been great reef tank mates.

yeah... my tailspot was an ideal denizen. He never picked at anything that would cause me alarm

I had a lined blenny that ate SPS... but other than the actual bite marks, it didn't cause the coral to RTN, which is what you are describing, IMO. So, I'm going to guess that in this chicken/egg scenario, your coral was unhealthy/dieing first...

blennies eat protazoa that live on algae etc. I would guess that the new corals are stressed and have some mucus comming off of them that is attracting the protazoa that the blenny is attracted to. I would look into what may be stressing the coral rather than the blenny.
