My Tank Live Cam

Hi FLMantis,

Yes, I added to Hydor 750 gph power pumps that work as wave mode, those added a great flow to my tank :)
 
Ernesto....I didn't get to see the cam on but can you go over how you set this up. Is this something that you could set up while you go away on vacation and then turn it on/off using a browser?

How have you found the picture quality and reliability? I have seen some mixed reviewed

Ever since I have had my sump breakdown and over flow I have been looking at setting something like this up for when I travel but have been looking for one I can access from my android cell phone. I have found that Linksys and Logitech both sell something but the image quality isn't there. I am not working with a buddy to develop an app so you access any ip camera remotely via mobile device. Hard part is finding a good quality camera without breaking the bank.

Hi Jgoal55,

Yes, actually I got this camera for that, for letting it working when I travel. You can see your tank form any computer or from the iPhone App.

Hi Dan

This camera is a Foscam, this is used as security camera.

I use it in 2 ways, one as full tank view and the other is hanging it from the tank for close ups and woking wit the panning.

You can pan this camera remotely on the internet or in your iPhone App :)

Today I will have the camera hanging from the RSM 250 and eventually I will do some panning .

Case sensitive

Now click on Live Video on your left

Id like to see it, I have clicked the link several times since you started this thread but no dice each time, my browser just times out.

Jgoal, it is on, for safari please pick the second login, the one on the bottom , after login click live video on the links that will show on the left
 
ok.. I just saw my anemone poop in video heheh I was monitoring from the other room and then I saw this thing moving between my corals, I jumped from my chair to the tank... it was anemone poop lol!
