My upgrade to 375 gallons

The tank looks great. I love the stone and woodwork....

You are a VERY brave man to have that pool table that close to the tank.

The pool table is a good 7 feet away from the tank. plus we break the balls the other direction. Did worry me at first but a ball would never reach the tank. Plus it slows people down from crazie shots.

Muligan, fantastic work! Love the stone and love the oak. Your basement looks like a high class cigar lounge.
Beautiful detail.
I am also curious about the building of the tank- what type and placement of bracing- if any- at that height, I can only assume there is bracing...going over the shots, it looks like there is euro bracing and some corner bracing? what width did you make your bracing?
How did you grind out your overflow plate and what are the dimensions of the overflow box?
what thickness of glass..3/4in. I assume.
Are the end panes sitting ON the bottom pane (as opposed to glued to the edge of the bottom pane), with the long sides glued to the edges of the bottom and end panes?
thanks
and again, really fine work
its great to see more and more amazing Canadian reefs

Great pics and a stellar looking install!

I love the way you have the tank in the foreground with the pic of the tank on your computer behind....can't get enough of a good thing :)

I didn't use any cross bracing but it has euro bracing 4" wide around the top.

The notch for the overflow is cut using a water jet saw.
the overflow dimensions are 6"x24"x14"

All the glass is 3/4" and the glass is glued to the edge of the bottom pane.

Thanks everyone for the kind coments.

Paul
