Hellow everyone.
I'm New here!
Ia have a yellow tang in my rio 180 2 months now. Everything went right since wendesday. Suddenly, from wednesday till today it is attacking to his reflection on the left side of the aquarium. It is doing it all the time. It has to go to the other side of the aquarium since wednesday. It seems healthy. Water parameters are good. It eats, but with fast moves.
How can i stop it?
Will it stop it?
It has 4 days now witch it is doing it without stop.

There's a video from friday:

Sorry for my english.

i wouldnt worry about it. he looks healthy. just double check your water parameters just to make sure everything is where it should be.

Your glass is not a mirror... Only you see the reflection... He maybe jus reacting to you... I don't see him attacking anything... I see some flashing is about it...

You asked for help 3 times in about 2 1/2 hours. This is a free forum and we don't have hobbyists sitting at computers 24 hours a day. Please have some patience!

Yes, it is battling its reflection. It should get over it in a few days. It looks like it is following you because that makes the reflection stronger due to the lighting as you move around.

Let the glass get dirty and it will stop!

Maybe I'm missin something, but how is it the tang is seeing a reflection? It's only looking through a single pain of glass... The reason the viewer sees a reflection is because of how we are seeing the side panel through the front panel of glass... The tang doesn't see a reflection...

Sure he does. If the room is darker than the tank, it will see its reflection, just like you will see yours in the glass when it is dark outside of your house. It may not be a perfect reflection, but it looks like a yellow tang to him.

My yellow eye kole tang started doing that randomly, and i was a little worried but he looked healthy, after about a week of that stuff he just stopped. Everything should be fine

It was a matter of time to stop it. From Monday showed signs of recovery. Now it is fully well. No sudden movements or hitting the glass or anything.
I apologize for the 3 consecutive posts.

You can always wrap the tank in something in the areas they do it most, will stop them from seeing their reflection
