N. Snails Did I get enough?

3 Turbos
3 N. snails
3 red scarlets
3 blue legs
2 zebras

I just released into my tank, all is doing well now? The three N snails dove into the sand all with in an inch of each other. Seems like there is alot more ground to cover, should I get more for my 24G tank? Is this enough for the clean up crew. I would also like two Electric blue hermits.

Lots of hermits vs snails. Just watch to make sure they dont kill to many. And make sure you have some extra shells.

They will kill each other? More shells, Right!!! So should I skip getting more? I wanted to Electric Blue, but they didnt have any today.

Hermits will kill each other and kill snails. Its the shells they want. Scarlets are the least likely to do anything, blue legs are the worst.

Oh and btw, adding shells wont necessarily stop them from killing, it just lessens the chance. Personally, I would say stop adding hermits, and maybe add a couple astreas. But that is just what I would do. If you want a bunch of hermits, go for it, they are always doing something, sometimes pretty funny. Just be prepared to replace dead snails.

I got rid of all my hermits! 1 skunk shrimp will clean more efficiently than 5 hermits and wont harm a thing plus they are like a under water dog, they will always come out at the first sign or smell of foods, and they like to gently clean your hand and arm while its in the tank. I Have 10 turbos in my ten gallon 1 for each gallon and a N. snail I want more for there are to cool with there trunk and under the substrate cleaning ability.

My blue hermits are like babies still. They are very small compared to the scarlets. There shells are maybe 3/8" to a 1/2. The two zebras are the larges of them all maybe 3/4". The Turbos are monsters compared to them all.

ive got some snails that seem to be glued to eachother. they just wont come apart.

Blues are smaller than most other hermits.

They are all busy eating their hearts out. I have the moon lights going and they are all happy. I had alot of hair algae on my LR. I do have about 20lbs of LS in my 24g tank, which is giving me about 1 1/2 deep. I guess I am expecting the N snails to clean up all the poop. The three of them can handle that?

Eventually I want a pair of perc clowns, and anemone, frogspawn or torch. I have the 32w lights with my Aquapod24, which would you recommend from the three.
