I would love to hear about your experiences. Kind of like in the primer series, just so I can solidify what I have read about them thus far.

Some things to answer(you are more than welcome to add more info beyond these questions as I may miss some stuff)

-Basic feeding
-Size that is best to purchase at
-Competition for pods against a mandarin
-What gender(female, male, small juvie/female)
-Rock dweller or open swimmer
-Any other basic care needs
-Tolerate the other species in the same tank
-Work as trios

Please share your pictures if you have any, especially if you have females. I don't quite trust google images when I am looking at something that I don't know.

Nahackys faries are not available very often. I have never seen 1 for sale. They are hard to come by, id purchase one sight unseen if you know where 1 is. let alone 2. Id imagine they are just like other fairys, easy to care for. They dont hunt pods though they will eat them. I love trios, they get my vote, but again the nahacys is hard to find GL. The whip fin...same as above just not rare. Also i have heard they are very aggressive to other fairys.

Do you have any suggestions for peaceful fairy wrasses. I like the longfin fairy wrasse as well as the pink margerine fairy wrasse. Pictures of either species as well as experiences would be good, just like what was said in the OP. I am looking for peaceful reef safe wrasses that are fairly easy to get a hold of in trios. Flashers are good, but I don't think there are very many females available and no idea how three males would do in a 125. They also eat pods.

There are more Cirrhilabrus wrasses that are friendly than aggressive IMO.
You just need to research the pecking order and go from there. My nahacky is peaceful and does almost everything with my Hooded . The 2 of them are usually unseperable.

Pink Margin is a good choice and its pretty easy to find. Ive seen a couple pairs and trios on LADD lately too.

Just out of opion, is it better to say get three juvie fairy wrasses or get two females and a male to get a trio? I personally like raising my fish from when they are small, part of the joy is having the fish live nearly its whole life in your tank. I think I may do a trio of pink margins and a trio of nahackies. Do both get to be around 5""? Also, do the females stay smaller than the males?

How about trios of Red Velvet(Cirrhilabrus rubrisquamis) and Pink Margin(Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus) fairy wrasses? More pictures would be great, would love to see the difference between males and females of both species!

I love my pyles. also I love my johnsoni trio. I also like my hooded, previous female now male:)Had to remove the other male though. that was no fun...

How were you able to obtain so many female flasher wrasses??? I would do trios of flashers if I was able to aquire appropriate females lol!! Unfortunantly hooded fairy wrasses are out of the question due to price. I am thinking about getting a trio of pyle's fairy wrasses off of DD when the time comes if they have any.

Hmmmm. Really liking the fiji exquisite and orange-back fairy wrasses. Do the exquisite fairy wrasses really get to be 5"? Also, which trio should I add to my tank first?

I plan on getting trios of both. Meaning 1 male and two females of each.
IMO, you might have a hard time getting females of Exquisite, or Orangebacks...but besides that ...IME...most of my wrasses have turned male (regardless of pairs, trios, harems)

Do you have aggression problems between the muliple males? I guess your problems would be nill compared to what I would have if you have some lol. Is there a particular reason why the female wrasses in general are hard to find?

Many have drab coloration in comparison to males, not very sought after. I love females though
