Thanks Naka,

I will get in touch when I get there. I could use some of your expertise. It has been a long time since I have had a big tank.

Thanks again, and keep up the good work!

naka, i know you hava a pvc bottom........do you have pvc on the back? Would you recommend a pvc back?

Does Aquarium Environments make a colored pvc back?

Ron, I just have normal 3/4" glass on the back w/ black sticker.
You can see how they put it on here Invincible's tank thread

I don't think AGE ever made pvc back.

thanks Naka!!!! Since most of us use a painted, vinyl......background........a nice colored pvc back would be very cool if we're not talking about doing an island set-up.

hey Naka, love your tank!!! I'm in the planning of a similar tank to yours (going with aquarium obsessed, 180g blue series).

I was trying to find if you transferred your bartlett's to your new tank. I read on a previous thread that you had 4 bartlett's for 4 years. Did you transfer them to the new tank? If not, are you planning on adding a small group of bartlett's?

Once again, keep up the good work. love your monti's (sunset, superman, rainbow).

Thanks,
Phu

light schedule

light schedule

Hi Naka,

My setup will have almost the same exact light setup as yours T5 and MH wise.

Can you share with me, your lighting schedule for each bulb and T5 ?

Thanks,
Ginzo

It goes without saying your whole setup is amazing. I happened on the tread while trying to research the dart pumps (I'm thinking of replacing a mag 24 return pump with one) but was amazed with your dendro colony. I've got a colony of three and have had them for about 10 months, they've all grown significantly but I haven't had a single new one. Any idea what's caused your's to spawn off so many new heads?

Ginzo, my lighting schedule is pretty simple.
one MH on at 8:30am
all T5's on at 8:45
2nd MH on at 8:45
that's my Sunrise effect

Sunset starts 3:00pm and by 3:15 all the lights are off

Thanks Mike. I really don't know what caused the multiple heads to come out of my dendros. I do feed them quite a bit. I like to feed them at least 4 to 5 times a week.

Thanks Naka !

Simple indeed :)

Think I will adapt it to have my lights on when I get back from work, since it's during that time that I will be able to appreciate the tank the most :)

Thanks,
Ginzo
