Actually, my ACLS is hooked up to RK2 just incase my chiller fails, it's set to shut off my lights at 84 deg. I only use the Lighthouse controller to monitor my tank parameters via online.Originally posted by Dudester
I'm curious as to why you use the Lighthouse for light control - RK2 can't handle the ATLS or what?
Oh yeah, beautiful photos as usual!
I think it does matter. My lights were too strong for tub's blue zoa's b/c it lost most of the blue colors. But, some of the new polyps starting to have the blue colors back. My zoas/palys look the best just under the T5 lights.Originally posted by invincible569
I've noticed that you have your zoas under strong light and they are growing like weeds. Is strong lighting a better choice for them or does it not matter?

Thanks for your reply. I may be asking several more questions in the near future, as I plan on ordering a tank very similar to yours tomorrow . I chose the dimensions not based on what you've done, but I actually selected it due to the light fixture I want to use. Anyway, I don't want to hijack your wonderful thread with information about my future tank, just wanted you to know why I'm so inquisitive. Your success is truely something to learn from.
Cheers,
Mike
