Sorry naka if this was already asked but i was wondering that because you only have one drain on a cj standpipe in your overflow what would happen if this drain clogs??Do you have a counter measure so your tank doesnt overflow if that cj blocks up?

Nope, no backup drain, but the cj has a nice snail guard. Also, I have a lid for my overflow box, so anything larger than the teeth can not get through.

So do you think that with a overflow with the same dimensions as yours you could have two 1.5 CJ's one in use and one as a backup(placed a little higher up) and a single 1 inch return without any issues?I plan on a ehiem 1262 as a return pump,think this set-up will cause me trouble.

great updates. welcome Noah, the newest member (naka jr.) will be taking your place soon, hehe. I have 4 boys myself (10, 9, 3 & 15 months) and its a lot of work on me and my wife, but priceless to watch them mature. keep pics coming and hopefully I can start adding water in my system soon.

Looks an awful lot like you to be a "frag from a friend" and I only see 2 eyes.
