Caught ya at the crossroads Gary. I'm calling myself right on the nodosa even though the odds are stacked against me.

URS member Cnidariaus (Dr. Lewis) told me this coral was purchased from Tyree (reeffarmers) as this species.

I traced my frag's origins back to Boston and it does appear to be this exact same coral although it doesn't completely match the the description for Montipora palawanensis on the AIMS coralsearch website, so I'm not sure what it is.

FWIW I believe reeffarmers have misidentified corals in the past.

I have seen this before, years ago. Its a stony. Notice how identical the coralites are.
