Due to significant travel for work, I have finally accepted that keeping my 125 is too much for me to do an adequate job.
I am looking to downsize and keep a few items in a new ~29g nano. My research has me between the Oceanic HQI & the JBL 89w LED. I am leaning towards the JBL due to the LED lighting options but am a bit leery since there doesn't seem to be a simple skimmer option. All feedback appreciated.
I have some fish, rock, and sand I have had for many years. What I'd *like* to keep:
7/3/03 Flame Angel (on the edge if the nano can handle). Advice?
3/20/04 Royal Gramma
9/13/03 Yellow Clown Goby
To send to a new home (purchase dates listed):
7/3/03 Purple Tang (Pretty big; ~5" long and very healthy): $75
10/18/03 Green Chromis (5 about 2.5" long (big)): $30 for all (must go as a group)
Hardware & Stuff:
125 tank with custom sump. I hard plumbed everything so I'll need to cut the lines to the sump to get it out of my house. After I do that, I will determine if it's worth selling and put a price on it. I don't think it will be an issue but will hold off on listing until I am certain.
Lighting -- 72" Hood "“ Three 250 watt MHs and two 160 watt VHO actinics (electronic ballasts on all). One MH ballast needs repair. $200. Four brand new 72" VHO UVL Super Actinic R in box, never opened. $100.
Substrate "“ 300 pounds of Southdown plus 50 pounds of live sand. Free.
Live Rock "“ 225 pounds of Florida live rock (Gulf View & Tampa Bay Saltwater). $5 per pound. I plan to keep 30 pounds for the nano.
Bottom line is I want a good home for some old friends. I can be reached here or by cell or text at (716) five-seven-zero - 6149.
