has anyone heard that you cant grow sps in a nano cube 28 hqi live aquaria said not to cause the tank size is too small for them if it crashes they would be the first if to go please let me know thnks

It can be done. A lot of people do it. The key will be keeping all the parameters steady which can be more difficult in a nano. ie auto top off, dosers

This picture (one of my favorites on RC) should clear up your concerns with not being able to keep SPS w/ Nanos. :)

I believe the issue is not that particular tank, but rather keeping SPS in small tanks. It is very possible, it is just that you have a lower volume of water so keeping it stable is theoretically more difficult. With that tank you may need a chiller or some other means of cooling the tank.

liveaquaria writes their information leaning more towards the beginner. You could keep SPS alive in a cup of saltwater if you could provide the right light and keep the water clean. With nano tanks the water volume is so low that its easy to throw to parameters all of and in most cases SPS is a lot more delicate when it comes to drastic changes like a temperature spike, or an overdose of Ca or Alk. As long as you can keep all your parameters stable, you should have no problem growing SPS in a small tank.
