Nano Recommendation

I am thinking of getting 2 6045 for my 92 gallon corner. My return pump does 790GPH. Would 2 6045 be sufficient? I plan on having different corals with diferent flow requirements.

I would think that would be good, I personally like close to 50+ times turnover, But that may be a little excessive, But all my tank is excessive so why stop? LOL
You could go with one 6080, or a 6000 on a single controller that way you could upgrade the 6000 if you feel its not enough flow.

Yea, that would be good. If you want to with all SPS corals in the future than you can always upgrade. If you have the extra cash than I would get the 6055 just for the soul fact that you can controll them and that's a huge advantage in a reef tank.

Depends on the corals you want to keep and your subtrate.

Mostly soft corals, maybe some polyps and some LPS. Also I have a 1 1/2 inch sand bed.

I would have to say it won't be enough, I am running a 6045 and prototype 6055 which has a max flow more like the 6045 and this is on a 58 and it is barely enough flow in my opinion.

I just pre-ordered two 6055's. I spoke with Anthony from Reef Exotics and he helped me make my decision. Great person by the way, very helpful. Now I just have to be patient and wait for them to come.
