Great colors especially for being so new...

It looks a bit crowded and I personally am not a fan of the big rock wall type setups, but to each their own.

Wow, no way this is your first tank is it?
No. I have had a few reef tanks in the past. Before I got hold of the internet I had a couple of 20long bare bottom system reefs, didn't know they were nanos. That was when FL live rock was available. Now that was some awesome rock!

How many fish do you have in your tank?
I have 1 Cherub angel and a yellow watchman goby w/pistol shrimp and the 10gl fuge has a small yellow watchman and tiger pistol. \
That's about all I think this size can handle. Wish I could put more and if I could it would be a small mandarin dragonet.

I have been thinking of placing the rock against the back and side walls and leaving an opening in the center. I have a 250 MH and 40 more #of LR on the way (most is going into the fuge) and will probably re-aquascape. I don't much care for it either, but that's how it came to be. I almost hate to muck with things though as the growth of the zoos and propogation of the shrooms has amazed me on a daily basis.
I have been using 1tsp kalk per gallon auto top-off RO/DI w/30ml vinagar, Kents nano Reef parts A/B and Purple-up.
I have never had a tank like this one. No undesirable algae and no die-offs to date.
