Nano Stream 6025 shroud keeps popping off...

i have 2 Nano Streams 6025 that i got as replacements from Roger back in July 2007... although the pumps have been great, the way i have one of the pumps angled in the holder causes the top part to pop off... it doesn't do it all the time, but every time i finish cleaning the pumps, it seems like i always have to go through this ritual of repeatedly positioning the pump to the holder and tugging on the cord cause it keeps getting in the way... i was wondering if it has been fixed in other revisions or is there a new shroud for it that stays in place...?

Usually this happens if the cover is squeezed into an oval, if you just squeeze it back into a round shape it should lock in properly.

what i noticed is, the top part of the shroud doesn't hold as well as the previous ones i had... it's like it doesn't even clip in...

also, the cable is putting a significant strain against the shroud... the part of the shroud where it contacts the cable is actually wearing down... the cable is digging into the plastic...

dont mean to invade the thread but i having the same problem and my tunze has a hard time starting back up when i shut it off for cleaning. it also rattle when it runs.

Probably the shaft is broken, send it in to us for replacement:
