Nano Streams (6025)

I have two nano streams and I have a couple of issues. First the mounts have broken for both of them not that big of a deal but a pain sometimes. Today I noticed that one of my nano streams was very loud so I unpluged it and after pulling it out of the tank I found that the shaft has snapped off at the base. Is there a replacement part for it? It doesn't seem like the shaft is supposed to come out. I can't get the tiny piece that is left in out.

Here are a couple of pics...It was time to clean them as well but this just happened today.

I was hoping someone from Tunze would chime in with a solution. The one that broke is the newer of the two that I have.
 
Early models had problems with the shafts breaking or popping out of the hole it is pressure seated in. Also the mounts breaking has been resolved as well a few months ago. Both issues are covered under warranty. Roger does not respond on weekends but he will most likely reply tomorrow. You can also PM him thru RC (rvitko) or email him thru here or from the Tunze website once you choose the US site
 
Yes, it may be newer from the date of purchase but it is older in terms of manufacture. Prior to July we had sourced the shaft from a Chinese supplier, it is 316 SS but if you read up on Chinese made SS you find that the common problem is the use of the same tools to make multiple grades of steel and if contaminated 316 is very brittle, pits and corrodes. We now use a SS/Titanium alloy from Germany- 316Ti. It is much stronger and the new shafts are also slightly wider. This change was made in July. Send in the pump complete and we will send a new one.
