Rapid LED Rocks!

Rapid LED Rocks!

We composed a bunch of letters to send to companies asking for donations or discounts to support the club.

We weren't expecting any replies yet but so far Rapid has delivered! They have agreed to donating a PAR38 to replace our existing used and burnt out one! Thanks guys!

And want to send a thanks to those who brought frags to the Mars meeting! We're not sure if we'll be able to keep some of the sps alive but you have to try and with a new light it just became a bit easier!

Thanks to all and happy holidays!

Thanks a bunch to Coralife!

Thanks a bunch to Coralife!

Got another reply! Coralife wants to donate a Biocube 29g! (excited!) I'm really glad that I'm in this hobby and that there are such great companies out there that support us!

Tank looks better than ever with the new light.
Once again, huge thanks to Rapid LED.
Much progression and the tank is getting more and more popular daily.
We have, inside, a variety of soft, easy corals and a very shy green clown goby.

Here are some of the students' favorites.
(Though I am getting somewhat tired of them constantly being referred to as "plant life") :crazy1:

Ya the plants part is getting a little annoying, but it is really surprising how much people are interested in the tanks. Our next meeting is tomorrow and its about tank cleaning. Finally get to teach them how to do it so we don't have to!:D

Biocube arrived today in ruff shape, front glass shattered and bottom broken out. The new Rapid Par is looking great and we are getting lots of questions about the "plants":rolleye1:

The green clown goby we put in there is really shy, how long does it take them usually to warm up to people? It swims around during quiet times but hides from people.

So we need to do an update... Pictures of the school tanks tomorrow.

We would like to send a shout out to Tom! He made a great donation, a huge "frag" of Green Slimmer and Sea Aquarium Unknown. Also a few other frags and things that should go far in our tanks.

In my tank until the school tank is ready, please excuse my camera hogs.
