Sorry...I couldn't resist:rollface:

Haha!

No, clown lets me sleep in his bed. I only get caged when I'm bad =)

Brilliant color in that last picture.

Thanks! I thought it came out good too.

Well I just spent the last two hours with clown working on the tank. We siphoned out two 5g bucket water changes and cleaned out the skimmer and foam pad really well. I also scraped the glass and refilled the water. It's looking pretty good.

There were not many FW's at all. Hardly any on the rocks, and just a handful on the sandbed. I think we are def close to getting rid of them. My six line is fat and is either eating the FW's or all the pods bc my mandarin is starting to look skinny now... ad he wasn't before I put the six line in there :/

I snapped a couple of photos after we were done.

Love how beautiful the sun corals are. It opened up while we were working on the tank. My guess is by stirring up all the junk it was trying to filter feed. I spot feed it mysis and brine. It is starting to grow baby mouths!

Sun Coral.

My clowns hosting in their open brain. Normally it's open more and they lay in it like a bed. I will try and get a good photo of it later.

And one of Ocean getting ready for bed.

Unreal how fish do things like that. Something to be seen to be believed.

Sun corals looking great as well :) Are they worth the effort in you opinion? I've been thinking about getting one in the future, so i'm just curious.

Cheers

Chris

Thanks! I find it very unreal as well. Uncanny at times.

Yes, I think the Sun Corals are worth it if you like to interact with the tank. It's not difficult to do, just takes time. They can go long periods without eating, so it's not like if you don't feed them one week they will perish. For overall health I would say 3 times a week is plenty from my experience so far. Twice a day some people say is not needed by any means, at least for the colony I have.

I would suggest getting one without a ton of heads. Each one has to be fed individually.

Awesome, thanks! How long do you keep your lights on?

Well right now its on 24/7. I havent gone to get a timer. I was going to do a reverse light schedule deal but it seems to work well being on all the time, sooooo...the "if its not broke dont fix it" kind of thinking took over and I spent the timer money on a frag.

Sweet, thanks for the info Ng. I will seriously look into getting a small one that's healthy.

You're welcome =)

Here are some older photos I took of me feeding my sun corals. Not sure if you saw them or not.

Some new photos from tonight.

Blue zoas and mushrooms. To the left you can see my Artic zoas. Not very colorful, but really neat and different.

I knew it!

Hey NG! Your pics are great. I'm sooo jealous of all of your different zoos. How do you get such good pics? Glad to see your flatworm problem is getting under control. How do you like your sixline? I got mine originally to help with flatworms and now I'm really glad we have her. They are such pretty fish.
