Hey Roger

Ok, so when can we expect more 6025, 45 and 55s to make their way here?

It seems like every month it gets delayed another month. When will the actual suppliers get them in their hands?

I paid for one last year thinking they were going to be ready in December, then it was Jan, then Feb, then March, and now I hear April or May.

I hope you understand from a customer point of view how annoying it is for us to sit here and wait.

I am still waiting for my 6025, 6100 steams and wavebox

6025 and 6045 continue to come in, the basic problem with the 6025 is that in the month they were not available worldwide they fell behind by thousands of pumps, it is going to take a while to get back on top of demand and existing backorders. The 6055 will start coming in very soon. 6100's have been coming in, we get more this week. The wavebox will also come in this week and enough that just about every backorder will be filled.

I think you would be far more annoyed if we sold you something that broke, the 6055 had to be changed a few times for various reasons, our early prototypes did not produce the flow we targeted, when we got the flow we wanted we had issues with new electrical equipment and devices causing interference with the circuitry, this required more testing. We are done and we now have a very reliable virtually silent pump to offer. It just comes down to getting them produced which has already started, in fact next week I get a final packaged version to see and post about here.

The factory is making alot of changes to better meet demand but things always get worse before they get better. Every aspect of production is being changed. Things used to be made to order in small series runs. Now products will be produced in batch lots and stored in a new warehouse facility. Many new employees and machines have been added and molds are being changed to reduce the number of assembly steps and facilitate automation. The factory premises is being expanded as well. In June I think things will be much better but until then I can only perservere with the limited inventory we are recieving.

Totally agree with chaffey, Roger always replies promptly and is very helpful. Roger, I got an e-mail from fishsupply.com the other day saying they should be shipping me my 6025's around March 29th, does that sound right to you???
Can't wait to get them!!!!!

man oh man do i need 2x 6025's right about now.. my tank is looking dreadful with only 44x turnover coming from 2 sources... it just doesnt hit all the places it needs to....

you guys need to contact Tony at reefexotics.com he can tell you exactly when he is going to have them. He offering free shipping too.

I can't wait so I bought 2 x 6045 instead.

To be fair giving an exact date just isn't possible, Tony is a great guy but I have learned the hardway not to count my chickens before they hatch. Our shipmenst are rather large and they are packed by human beings who make mistakes. I can't tell you how many times I have been short 20-30 6025's and instead got 20-30 6045's or the same scenario with 6000's vs 6100's. When that happens the dealers get shorted and may not be able to fill an order so that is risky to promise a date. I have also had shipments get lost, left in the rain, etc. I have had entire shipments with German plugs. It is here when it is here, taht is the safest way to look at it.

Joe, I believe that is correct, you must be first up on the list as they only got a few.

I just called reefexotics and took the last 6025 he had.. WOOHOO.. finally some flow to help out till they finally get around to shipping 6055's that ive been waiting on since October.
