NARC May meeting

Count me in. My first meeting was in Decatur. I can bring some frags of brown/green button polyps if anyone is interested. I also larger colonies of the buttons available for trade. Does anyone have any soft coral frags still available?

John says that he needs someone to bring ice, soft drinks, plates, utensils and cups. He also welcomes any dessert.

H@rry - John was wondering if "Mary Ruth is going to bring the coconuts pie that she is so famous for"?

John has gotten tons of stuff for door prizes including large skimmers (I will start another thread on this per his request) and brought in more than $5000 worth of corals and fish.

Mary Ruth with bring two coconut pies *BUT* if the weather is humid the meringue will be cool whip.

I would like to come. It would be my first meeting to attend. I will bring anything I need to however, my work schedule is kind of chaotic so I am not 100% sure I will be able to be there.

Put me on the guest list. My Nano tanks been up and running about 3 months. I need some corals. What do I need to bring?

You can bring any snack item you like to share. The main dish is a seafood stew (John says that it's more of a finger food than a stew or soup.) We probably have a lot of desserts and soft drinks.

There should be some free beginners corals floating around. I am sure some people are either trading or selling nice corals. Club members often offer corals at very reasonable prices! Are you looking for any particular coral? If so, you can ask if anyone has one to spare or a frag to sell.

By the way, beaslbob sez:

"will bring the usual diy two part stuff. As usual I hope people can brind some containers like 3 pound coffee plastic cans.

Bob"

See you all tomorrow!

I'll be there. I don't have any coral to trade but I do have a 20L drilled dispay tank and a 20L sump for trade. If anyone is interested let me know.

Shameless Beg...... Anyone that has excess corals like Kenya Tree, Xenia or GSP, I'd love some. See everyone in the morning.

I'm planning on bringing the following frags:
-- 2 orange montipora digitata (small branched frags on rock)
-- 1 or 2 stalks of Xenia (one is mounted on a rock)
-- 2 Anthelia colonies (several polyps each)
-- star polyp mat(s) [growing on back glass]
-- green finger leather (for Tomoko)

If anyone wants, I can also bring a nice size (~ 4" diameter) Toadstool leather. I have two growing on the back glass, and I can peel one off pretty easy...but I don't want to if nobody wants one...so let me know.

Gary, if you want any of this stuff, I'll trade for your brain. From the pic it looks to be bleached somewhat, but I'll give it a shot.
