Naso advice needed

My brother has a 190g tank. He is getting a 5 1/2 naso tang but he already has a 3-4" orange shoulder. My question is will they be ok or will we need to remove the orange shoulder? Thanks.

Based on my experience with a new 4 1/2 inch naso going into a 200 with a hippo and a salfin and a purple all a little bigger I had no issues. I had issues with a foxface and a mean large domino damsel that was bad the first day and then I guess they just gave up. Now they are all doing well!

Naso's are super mellow, he should be no prob, I'm not sure about the O shoulder, but they don't seem too agro from the ones I've seen, no personal exp.
Only bummer is eventually the naso will get pretty darn big, and will outgrow that tank.

I agree..mine gets along fine with all my tangs also. I almost have him eating out of my hand now he is so setback. My little male Maroon gave him a good nudge the first day though.. talk about attitude!
