Naso Dying?

We all know that this medium allows certain nuances to slip by in conversation, and what you perceive to be arrogance could be anything but. Steve is an asset to this community and his participation here is very much appreciated.

Honestly, I haven't been here long enough to take sides nor have i read all the posts... But i don't find both the posts here from Steve to be any close to being arrogant!! ...

It was probably the food and lack of eating. I got a beautiful 6-7 incher and he wouldn't eat anything for the longest time. He had pinched stomach and I spent a bunch of money trying to find the "right" food. Finally to him to start eating nori cut into strips and soaked in selecon. That did the trick for me. I then got him used to the clip after a little while. Now he's fat and happy :)

I must say that I have not found the Naso to be a particularly easy tang to keep. The ones I have had have all tended to go on hunger strikes occasionally and it has been difficult to keep weight on them. Counter intuitively, I've had less trouble with the Achilles.

I have a Blonde Naso in my tank that is currently giving me a hard time about eating. I removed two fish from my tank 2 weeks ago, and since then, he picks at flakes and nibbles at Nori. He used to love frozen Mysis, but shows no interest in it now. I never would have thought this before, but maybe he misses his friends.

I don't know if fish can distinguish color or it smelled differently, but when I had a Naso it wouldn't each much of the green nori but would rip into the red nori.

Who knows, that could be right. I had a naso some years ago that behaved more like a puppy than a fish - coming to the surface, following me around .....
