Naso Tang Brine Shrimp Only

I recently bought a small Naso Tang. It will only eat frozen brine shrimp. I've tried mysis and nori soaked with garlic but he won't go near it. Any suggestions?

I kept an Achilles on just brine for almost four months before it ate anything else. Still won't eat the small hikari mysis, but does eat the larger PE mysis. Go figure. Point is that brine will sustain it for a while. Keep offering variety. Naso's can be a pain.

I would try the emerald entree frozen. It's a mixture of spriullina brine and mysis. My powder blue would only eat brine at first and then would pick out the brine. But after a couple of weeks started going for the mysis as well and now eats anything I throw out there

Keep with the Nori also. If possible, rubber band it to a piece of rock instead of putting it in a clip.

It took my Naso about 6 weeks to consider Nori, and 7 months to consider Seaweed Extreme pellets. He loves meaty food.

my large blonde naso loves the packaged seaweed i got from LFS from a food clip. my naso, hippo tang, and yellow tang all go crazy for it, but the tangs dont fight over it. nice to watch
