i got a blonde naso for my 600 gallon about 2 months ago he wont eat well only thing he will eat is live black worms whi=ch is becoming a pain in the butt but hes still skinny ? he will munch a little on nori but thats it anyone have any pointers?

Have you tried soaking the food in garlic? It's a pretty basic strategy that has worked well for me otherwise I've used this stuff called "Entice" before they sell it at Petco and it actually worked pretty well. If all else fails I would personally soak the nori in a supplement of sorts to at least get a little extra nutrition while you work on getting him to eat some frozen. Hopefully that helps!

hes big like 9' i treid soaking the worms in selcon but hes still has a pinched belly and kinda wasteing away .its wierd all my other fish are doing really well .

I had a Naso that was caught about that size and it never ate anything but nori. It would starve if I did not feed nori. Maybe you could try two pieces of nori and putting some flake between them. Get it wet put a weight on them and let them dry. Trick him into eating some flake and maybe he will decide he likes it.

Sounds like internal parasites. You could soak some nori in selcon then roll it like a cigar with some meds in it . Put it in a veggie clip and attach to the glass. I've done this with Metro before with good results.

Naso's can be really tricky to get feeding, and it's not unusual for them to go on hunger strikes. My experience with fish with internal parasites is that they do eat, but don't gain weight - so I doubt that's the case here.

I would continue to offer nori as frequently as you can, and try as many frozen foods as you can. My naso has developed a taste for the larger PE Mysis. Have you tried that?
