More juicy swap details for you... items to be raffled at the swap will include not just one but 2 R/O units, a Power Compact light fixture, 2 boxes of rock base and rubble rock, gift certificates from LiveAquaria and ReefAndTails, a 100 gallon tank, and some nice corals. On the smaller end, there will be frags in the raffle, and reefplugs to grow your own. So send in your tank photos, post your frags, and get excited for the big event!

I'll donate a couple 3"x3" frags of my green monticap for the raffle, if you'd like them. It's over-shadowing everything my tank! They would be unmounted.

Swapping is welcome throughout and I am sure that each of us will have a designated space to setup or keep our stuff while we talk, visit demos, raffle, and of course BS. Swapping is encouraged to be done the whole time and we set time aside for demos, raffles, and other things like member meetings but swapping can continue for those who do not want to participate in any given event or addition to the swap.

Just another plus...
We are going to be doing a free Interceptor Dipping for anyone visiting the swap who purchases/trades/or sells an acropora species.
This will help insure that little critters like the "RED BUG" do not make their way into your aquarium. I would still QT all animals prior to going into your display but every little bit of Precaution is helpful in maintaining a successful reef display.

Folks do swap the whole time Bobby, but I highly recommend checking out FragSwapper.com if you haven't already. A lot of folks will not frag their coral if they don't have a buyer for it, so the selection of pre-arranged swaps can be just as good as the stuff folks bring to display and sell. Usually only the more "professional" traders bring a large supply of frags to sell...the rest of use tend to only cut what we need, with the exception of stuff that grows like weeds and we don't mind trimming back.

No I will not be selling the Interceptor nor will the club to my knowledge. On the otherhand there are a plethora of online retailers that sell it at a fair price. May I mention www.petshed.com for your needs? It is in Australia and has been cheaper for me to get my dogs flea meds through that site than to order it locally and that is even with the airmail cost! In fact it only takes 4 days to get here where the online US retailers have taken more than 7 days to get to me. Figure that one out!! Petshed does not carry Interceptor through my search but keep it in mind for your other pet needs, I have found it to be a money saver!

I have an interesting development from the Long Island journey everyone will find amazing. I am keeping it secret until then, but I will say it is the least likely Hitchhiker you would ever know!
